Victoria’s journey is one of resilience, transformation, and healing. Growing up, she endured profound emotional trauma, which instilled lifelong patterns of stress and disconnection. These challenges followed her into adulthood, culminating in the diagnosis of Trigeminal Neuralgia in 2017—a debilitating condition that brought chronic pain and tested every facet of her strength.
Unwilling to accept a life defined by medication or invasive surgery, Victoria embarked on a quest for healing. This journey led her to yoga, a practice that reconnected her to her body and shifted her perspective on pain. Through consistent practice, she transitioned from fear to curiosity, discovering that she was whole and resilient beyond the physical pain she endured.
Inspired by this transformation, Victoria left the corporate world and became a Certified Yoga Instructor, completing rigorous training to help others navigate their own paths to wellness. Today, she works as a wellness advocate, sharing her story and guiding others through mindful movement, self-care, and stress reduction. Her mission is to empower those in chronic pain to reclaim their lives and find balance, just as she did.
Victoria believes that healing is possible for everyone and that no journey is too long or too difficult to transform. #reMOVEpain
What Victoria believes:
You too can find relief and balance, no matter how severe your pain is or how long your journey has been.
In Her Own Words:
I have been fortunate to learn from some of Portland’s most renowned yoga teachers, including Annie Adamson, Rachel Lundberg, and Julie Gudmestad. My studies span vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga, yin yoga, and a foundational exploration of pre- and postnatal yoga.
My journey into yoga began as a deeply personal one, sparked by my battle with chronic pain. This experience shaped my teaching philosophy and ignited a passion for anatomy, functional movement, and pain science. I firmly believe that our bodies hold an innate wisdom, and my mission is to help students reconnect with this inner intelligence, both on and off the mat.
Through continuous study of body mechanics, yoga’s effects on the body, and the evolving field of pain science, I’ve developed a teaching approach that empowers students to find relief and freedom in their movement. By blending a hatha flow style with alignment-focused techniques, I guide students toward a deeper understanding of their bodies, offering tools to navigate both physical challenges and life’s demands with grace and resilience.
